The trailer just came out for Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester’s new movie *deep Hollywood blockbuster guy voice* The Roommate.

Basically she’s the roommate to hot doppelganger Minka Kelly. They’re BFFs until Leighton gets all possesive and crazy-like and starts trying to kill everyone close to aforementioned BFF/roommate. Sound familiar?

Leighton Meester playing an evil bitch trying to ruin her best friend’s life? Sounds like a real stretch character-wise.

The movie also stars Alyson Michalka, of cheesey sister/sister musical duo Aly & AJ.

It’s great they basically told you everything that happens in in the movie in the trailer so now I don’t have to go and see it (in a totally ironic tongue in cheek way of course).
